My client at http://goodshipliana.com got the IDoBlog Community from you. They installed it and  it crashed her site. Is this program ready for sale or is it still in BETA? - Now i have to fix it.-- I did fixed all the 777 code updates but get this from the cofiguration panel :

I installed idoblog-tag to 1.5.6.

I can add tag and shows tags. but when I click one of tags, it go back to home page.

Am I missing anything here?

Any input will be greatful.

Hi

I have just installed IDOBlog in my local joomla.  Apart from this I have installed some rss plugin, which will read rss content and display it as article content

First 

I have select write a blog::::

Title -->

In Blog article  i have written like 

This is my first blog to test

Here is the learning curve

When I click on Save

I got this error

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_encoding() on a non-object in /opt/lampp/htdocs/mysite/plugins/content/rssfeed.php on line 127

When I open that rssfeed.php plugin file

127th line is $isutf8 = (strtolower($rssDoc->get_encoding()) == 'utf-8');

RSS plugin link is http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,4286/Itemid,35/

Please suggest me to fix this.

Please check these directories in your file manager or FTP software:

components/com_idoblog/assets/images
images/idoblog

The attribute is set to 777 meaning the whole world could write to it. All the contents under the directories have the same attributes.

Change your folder attributes to 755 and your files to 644 ASAP.

This is hacker fodder.

open to world | 777 | security hole

thank you for the download. i have tried to create a menu for idoblog. the menu is only for registered members and enabled as a sub-page (not in frontpage). When I click on a link in the PMS like new, forward, delete, sender, the next page of idoblog appears in the frontpage and the menu disappears in the left position. Where can I configure so that idoblog appears in the same position? THanks.

Hey, I was wondering how about the integration of Idoblog with messaging systems like Uddeim, or Forums like Fireboard.  Is that possible? For Fireboard I mean that it would be nice that you have one general profile not one seperate for your blog and the forum...

Hello,

I downloaded the latest version (not pro) to use locally and I am having problems viewing the blogs after they are written.

I tried to use the solution in your FAQ, but the images were not available and the original post was not very descriptive.  I can create and see the articles in the backend, but when I try to view all I can see nothing.

I am starting a community page for learners and I have used joomla to create the site. I need idojoomla for learners to interact with one another and learn from each other. I hope I can have my license today after subscribing. My internet connection is only good in the morning for downloading files. Admin, can I have my download link now? Thanks very much.

Just down loaded and installed IdoBlog free version using Joomla 1.5.8 on windows server server 2003 IIS6.

Able to make entries but when trying to leave comment get the following error:

Error: the XML response that was returned from the server is invalid.
and what looks like my index.php

I have looked through here and faq and tried what I found there but still getting error.

I have tried contacting my server host and they have not been able to help me with this.  When I do a google search for the title of one of my blog posts the listings show the wrong domain.  This only happens with the IDOBLOG posts, nothing else on the site.  I have several domains that are using the same IP address but are redirected to various subfolders.  It also only happens if I search for a heading in the post.  (the actual post title works fine) Here is an example:

I have a post titled:  Free Polaroid PSD file.  If I put that in google the listing shows: creativewebolution.com/component/idoblog/viewpost/83 

The same blog post has a heading (h1) called

Layered Polaroid PSD

If I put that in google the listing shows: reeftrader.net/component/idoblog/viewtag/31

There doesn't seam to be any kind of pattern to which wrong domain it uses.  The only common denomonator is that it happens with the blog posts. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on?

I'm a japanese Joomla!　user.

I tried to install IDoBlog 1.1 (Build31)in my Joomla! site.

But my writing screen of IDoBlog has no WYSWYG editor! (I'm using JCE) Why?

Not as Video lesson 1.

Please tell me way to use WYSWYG editor.

P.S.

No WYSWYG screen is only general registared users.

When I log-in with administrator account, JCE appears.

Nice component by the way! How can I adjust the display of the articles to display align left? It seems by default they appear aligned center. I can't seem to find where to modify it.
